The Brief:<\/strong> To maintain easily and a grey colour scheme.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ensuite required storage solutions to keep toiletries and cleaning supplies neatly tucked away and out of view, ensuring no cluter would build up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A compact area on either side of the sink was necessary for hand soap, leaving grooming products to be stored in the mirrored wall cabinet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vanity unit and sink needed to fit perfectly within the allocated space, preventing anything from slipping off the edge and being lost. The unit featured a drawer that spanned the width of the unit with molded trays, and below a cupboard with a shelf, providing ample storage while maintaining a sleek, easy-to-clean area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The shower enclosure was equipped with a sliding door instead of a bifolding door due to space constraints. The shower was upgraded with a new riser kit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tiles supplied were in a matt and gloss finish and were from a range called Regal. Matching grout and silicone were used to ensure continuity, along with chrome effect tile trims to complement the chrome shower cubicle doors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dado Rails<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Enhance the appearance of your hall, stairs, and landing walls by incorporating a dado rail. This addition can impart a classic ambiance to your residence while maintaining a contemporary aesthetic.
Before commencing, take into account the height at which you plan to divide your wall. Consider the color palette both below and above the dado rail. Keep in mind that bold colors can create a sense of intimacy in a room. The colors selected by this client ensure that the hall, stairs, and landing remain open and vibrant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basement Library<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This space previously served as both an oil tank room and a coal storage area for this magnificent residence, many, many years ago! Upon removing the wallpaper, we discovered a coal chute that had been sealed off. We installed an engineered oak floor and hand crafted furniture according to the client’s requirements for the new library. What a transformation and a great space!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kitchen Upgrade <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although this kitchen served its purpose, it was time for an upgrade. There is plenty of cupboard space; however, the oven doors could not open completely because of the cooker’s placement. The objective was to relocate the washing area to create additional work surface, as well as to eliminate the island and reposition the cooker. The client desired a glossy white kitchen featuring a double sink and a basin for handwashing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Storage Required<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Although ensuites can often be compact, this particular one was of a reasonable size.  However, it was lacking in storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clients expressed a desire for a lower shower tray, more storage and a large towel radiator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The storage was incorporated through cabinets situated beneath the basin\/work surface, ideal for cleaning products\/toiletries and a wall cabinet with glass shelving, with an electric toothbrush charger and external\/internal lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Large tiles in two distinct shades of grey are utilized for both the shower and the floor, complemented by chrome trims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Brief: Sand Dunes & Waves<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bringing a customer’s vision to life is so rewarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The effect was sand dunes and waves and the end result met the brief. The Metro tiles were positioned around the bathroom to give the feel of water lapping onto the beach. In the shower area, the textured tiles were to give the effect of sand dunes and the floor tiles to represent the colour of drift wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sanitary ware plays a big part in the end result. A modern twist with an elegant and timeless vibe!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Mum & Dad let the children design their own rooms<\/strong>!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The paint used for the walls was Dulux Diamond Eggshell. Tintable bases which contain an anti-fade technology to protect the colour pigment from damage for a long lasting colour. A tough and cleanable emulsion with a smooth, even mid sheen finish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Don’t Fence Me In<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Replacing a chain link fence with gravel boards, concrete posts and close board vertical slotted fence panels. High enough to keep the pets and children safe with still being able to chat with the neighbors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bathroom – when a wall came down!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The brief was to get rid of the bath, fit the biggest shower tray possible, cupboards and no white tiles. The only way to get a big shower tray in was to knock down the wall between the toilet and main bathroom and have one door. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes the original layout can be the best layout. With the upgrade of integrated appliances and the addition of a drawer stack, it has made this kitchen a great place to entertain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Garden<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Finishing touches to a low maintenance garden. Changing the wooden gate for a wrought iron gate can make such an entrance to your garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brief was a bath tub in the en-suite. Never a company to shy away from a challenge, we gave the client what they wanted, along with their favorite colour of purple grouting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bathroom – with a modern period twist.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When updating your home its always nice to keep some of the traditional features with a modern twist. This was replicated in the tiled mosaic floor. It is just enough to give that wow factor when entering into the bathroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Worktop change<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Making minor changes can make all the difference. A change of worktops to lighten the kitchen was all that was needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
